Welcome to the weekend, my friends! The sun has been shining for several days this week and it’s been so lovely. <- THAT is something I couldn’t have imagined ever saying once in my life before now. We had a rainy day yesterday and I absolutely loved that too.

Side note - Are you officially an “old person” if you’re this weather obsessed? I never understood it when grown-ups talked about the weather when I was a child and now? I am all about that weather talk. I check the weather on my phone daily now and it still makes me laugh.

ON THE BLOG this week: You’ve seen this Strawberry Spinach Pasta Salad countless times in my Instagram stories over the past few months and I finally shot photos and got it up on the blog this week. I can not get enough of this salad. I make it with the White Balsamic Vinaigrette that everyone always loves and it’s a total winner of a salad.

You know how much I love my moments on the front porch? Well, Primo Water is making those moments (and more of my life) a little bit easier! You can read more on the blog, but spoiler alert - hot water on demand is amazing and they’ve given me a great discount code to share with all of you too!

Need a dinner that the kids will love and is ready in minutes with a minimal amount of prep? This Kielbasa, Cabbage, and Potato Skillet is that meal for my family. Hopefully you’ll love it as much as we do!

What I’m CRAVING: It’s been a kind of scattered week over here and there hasn’t been a lot of cooking, so my meal plan is already full for next week. I’ll be making this Crunchy Honey Lime Chicken with Skillet Mexican Street Corn for certain. My kids requested these Mediterranean Nachos again, so we’ll be doing that too. I’m pretty sure this pan of Cheesy Ranch Chicken and Potatoes will be happening too, since my friend Megan mentioned them the other day and now I’m craving them too!

My FAVORITE THING this week is still this set of electric candles. (link HERE) (Remember, the set comes with a nifty remote AND the flames actually flicker. I LOVE them!) HOWEVER, I wanted to give you a heads up that I learned if the candles are in direct sunlight several hours a day on your porch, the wax will melt. (Or if you live on the surface of the sun - a.k.a. Phoenix, AZ - they likely won’t fair well outdoors at all.) I have at least a dozen of them on my back patio and front porch and two of them melted in the direct sun this week. They still work, however I now move them out of the sunlight during the day.

What I’m READING: Panacea by F. Paul Wilson (link HERE) As always, I’m hooked from the start. F. Paul Wilson writes the Repairman Jack series that Sean and I both love. (link HERE) So, it was a fairly safe bet that I’d enjoy this one. That said, I’m not a fan of his books in the adversary cycle that ties into the Repairman Jack series… so, you never know, right? (Those are just a bit too dark for me. The Repairman Jack books though? I love them.)

Oh! I almost forgot - about this week’s book, Panacea. The definition of panacea is “a solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases.” So, in a very brief nutshell, the book pulls you into the fight between good and evil over the discovery or destruction of the mythical panacea. The idea of a panacea that could literally cure any illness ever? Sounds pretty amazing, right?

“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” ― Neil Gaiman

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
