Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Happy happy happy Saturday too! I am beyond content to be waking up and sipping coffee on my front porch this morning. It just hasn’t gotten old. I’ve never spent so much time doing so few things and I love it.

ON THE BLOG this week: Want the secret to perfectly crisp, golden brown, cheesy quesadillas? (I’ll give you a hint, it’s more dairy.) I shared all the tips and a whole lot of awesome fillings combinations over HERE.

Have you tried the best ever Oven Baked CRISPY Chicken? I’ve been making this chicken at least once, usually twice a month, for the past few years. What I’m CRAVING: Check out this Blackberry Ricotta Pizza by The Food Charlatan. Doesn’t that look incredible? This Pineapple Rum Cake by 365 Days of Baking is also sounding pretty fantastic right now.

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are my new Sloggers (link HERE) So many of you messaged me when I asked for advice on garden shoes. The overwhelming recommendation was for the Sloggers. I’m thrilled that they turned out to be not only waterproof, but immensely comfortable.

What I’m READING: Mrs. Kennedy and Me by Clint Hill (link HERE) I started this one the day after I finished reading Five Days in November and it was every bit as good. I’m looking forward to reading his last book Five Presidents when it is available from the library in a few weeks.
