Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I am traveling home this morning after spending a few days in Tennessee with some of my best friends. There’s nothing that compares with spending time with friends from far away, is there? My kids are at summer camp this week too, so I’ll get to spend a couple days on my own with Sean before they get back on Monday. <insert sappy happy face here>

ON THE BLOG this week: I could make a different kind of banana bread every week and never get bored. (and luckily, we almost always have ripe bananas begging to be baked!) This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a recipe that I often go back to and I love it more every time I make it.

My kids went nuts over this Cheesy Pizza Pasta for dinner - with pepperoni, sausage, peppers, mushrooms, and onions this has all of our favorite supreme pizza flavors in an awesome bowl of pasta.

You only need three ingredients to make these classic Peanut Butter Cookies. I’ve been making them since I was a little girl and now my kids make them too.

What I’m CRAVING: These Balsamic Grilled Vegetables with Goat Cheese by Courtney at NeighborFood are calling my name. And I already know that my boys are going to flip for these Jalapeno Popper Corn Muffins by Candace at Our Zesty Life.

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are these bath salts (link HERE) I love it so much. I’ve never been a bath person before in my life, but since we moved I’ve fallen in love with baths as part of my night time routine. My sister Jenny told me about these bath salts and I’ve already gone through the first bag since we moved. I love them!

What I’m READING: The Fourth Turning: What the Cycles of History Tell Us About America's Next Rendezvous with Destiny by William Strauss and Neil Howe (link HERE) Written nearly two decades ago, this is an engrossing read - regardless of whether you agree with all of it or not. In a nutshell, the book posits the view that history repeats itself on average every 80-90 years. I’m about a third of the way through this one and while the book isn’t a light read, I’m fascinated.

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." - George Santayana

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
