Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Oh, how happy I am to be HOME. I had a wonderful time last week in both Arizona and New Mexico and while I have called both of those states home over the past 40 years, Ohio is where my heart is now.

The leaves are turning and starting to fall from the biggest tree in our backyard and the morning air is growing a tiny bit chilly. I am so excited for fall (our first REAL fall!) and the changing of the seasons. I’m telling myself that the changing seasons might not always be this exciting, but right now, I’m giddy over it.

Have you pre-ordered your copy of The Weeknight Dessert Cookbook?? (link HERE) Grab one now so that it will land on your doorstep the day it releases!

ON THE BLOG this week: This {One Pot} Cajun Jambalaya Pasta is the current winner for new recipes in my house. Spicy sausage and tender shrimp make this Jambalaya Pasta a dinner that my whole family loves.

It’s officially pumpkin season in my kitchen and this Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie has been a reader favorite for a while now. I added a few notes and a video a while back and just reshared it on the site. If you haven’t tried it yet, I hope you love it!

My FAVORITE THING this week is this pair of crop leggings / yoga pants (link HERE) Can we talk real life for a moment? When you aren’t real tiny, and maybe when you are, workout clothes can be a real pain to find. And finding affordable pieces?? Yeah right.

I found these crops for under $15! The leggings are thick enough to smooth things a bit while being high enough waisted to be flattering too. I have tried on a LOT of leggings over the past year or two and right now I’m calling these my unicorn and I’ve bought three pairs. (Now wish me luck as I try yoga for the first time ever next month!)

What I’m READING: Things You Save In A Fire by Katherine Center (link HERE) I’m torn in my review for this one. It was both really good and kind of annoying. I didn’t love the main character, but I also had trouble putting the book down. It was predictable, but I also wanted to know how everything would end. Yes, it was annoying at times, but it was also a fun read wrapped up with happy endings for almost everyone.

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
