Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Are you as giddy over these crisp fall mornings as I am?? (Just ignore me right now, friends and family living in the desert, as I realize it’s still 95°F in Phoenix!) There’s just something magical to me about a morning that starts chilly. I’m getting excited for winter coats and the cold that is coming. I know that my excitement over the cold might not last, but right now? Every morning feels like Christmas.

ON THE BLOG this week: Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies I almost don’t need to say any more than those words to convince you how delicious these brownies are, right? These are rich chocolate brownies loaded with chunks of peanut butter fudge.

Asian Glazed Salmon with Broccoli has been my kids’ favorite salmon recipe for years. I made it again a few weeks ago and decided it needed to be reshared. It is sooo good!

From the crunch of the sugar crust on the bottom to the juicy cranberries to the flaky cake layer on top; Nantucket Christmas Cranberry Pie is holiday dessert heaven. Between this pie and our beloved Cranberry Christmas Cake, you’re going to want to keep a stash of cranberries in your freezer all year long.

I’ve had the best time this week seeing The Weeknight Dessert Cookbook in your hands at last! (link HERE) If you’ve shared it on Instagram, be sure to tag me so that I will see it there too.

What I’m CRAVING: Soups, soups, and more soups! My oldest son isn’t a fan of broccoli, but he LOVES ordering Broccoli Cheese Soup when we’re out. So, I have this recipe for Broccoli Cheese Soup by Iowa Girl Eats on my meal plan. This Creamy Chicken Gnocchi Soup by Saving Room for Dessert is another one I have saved to try this fall. It looks so good!

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are my kids’ Geomags (link HERE) We’ve had our set (actually, I think we might have combined a couple of sets) for over 12 years now and they still get played with EVERY single day. All of the boys have played with them over the years and they’re truly fun, even for adults. If you’re looking for a super cool Christmas idea, I can’t recommend these highly enough.

What I’m READING: Her Mother’s Hope and Her Daughter’s Dream by Francine Rivers (links HERE) This is a two-book series that follows the path of three generations of women and how they shaped each following generation with their faith and their life choices.

The books are at times heartbreaking and joyful. More than once, I wanted to smack a couple of the characters for being stubborn. The stories are based on their author’s own life and were written as the author searched for answers in her own family’s history. I really enjoyed them.

“I wish that every day was Saturday and every month was October.” ― Charmaine J. Forde

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
