Welcome to the weekend, my friends! It’s been a very tasty week over here as I’ve been testing holiday recipes to share and I’m pretty excited about them. Other than that, I've spent as much time as possible on the porches, enjoying this cooler weather and the beautiful leaves.

ON THE BLOG this week: Blueberries and Cream Almond Oatmeal is a year-round favorite. (I make it with frozen blueberries when I don’t have fresh in the house.)

Homemade Almond Joys really do taste better than store-bought. Rich, chocolatey and nutty with plenty of light, flaky coconut, Almond Joy candy is a favorite holiday treat over here.

My sister Jenny introduced me to this Challah Bread Pudding with Kahlua Cream Sauce a few years ago and it makes me so happy that you all love it now too.

What I’m CRAVING: This Caramel Apple Walnut Crumble is another fave from the new cookbook and my friend Cathy is sharing it over at Noble Pig. These soft and chewy Pudding Cookies are made without the pudding mix and you’re going to love them! Christi from Love from the Oven shared this recipe from the new cookbook and the cookies looked so good, I made them again last week.

My FAVORITE THING this week is this $17 pair of leggings. (link HERE) Once the weather cools off, I switch to wearing these fantastic leggings almost every day around the house. (I have several pairs at this point.) I found them on Amazon last year and they’re basically the unicorn of leggings.

I loaned a pair to a friend while she was visiting last week and she LOVED them. She asked for a link to buy them and I realized I’ve never shared my magical leggings with you! They’re the softest thing ever, lined to be warm in the winter, and the most flattering legging ever too (let’s be honest, leggings aren’t the most flattering thing ever) but these have a super high waist and I just love them.

What I’m READING: I have had the worst run of luck with books lately! I don’t even remember the last one I finished reading. I decided a few years ago that life is too short to finish a book I’m not enjoying. As a result, I haven’t even finished the past few books I’ve started.

Oh! And along those lines, I’ve decided not to share books I’m just starting to read. It has backfired on me numerous times lately! So, wish me luck reading this week. I have a few new ones on the Kindle that I’m starting now.

What I’m WATCHING: Gilmore Girls on repeat (link HERE) I’ve mentioned my love for this show before, but it just doesn’t get old. It’s the show that I love to watch in the background while I’m editing photos. It always makes me laugh or sigh or smile. I bought the series on DVD years ago and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it at this point.

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
