Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Are you local to the Columbus area? If so, please come hang out with me at Cedar & Thread in Granville, OH today between 11am-2pm. I’m so excited to meet those of you who are local and share my favorite store with you!

I’ve had fun this week baking my favorite recipes from the new dessert cookbook to share with you! So come on over today and sample it all. And just so you know, if you’ve never been to Granville, you’re going to love my little village.

The half-hour drive from Columbus is lovely and there’s so much to do once you’re here! I recommend Snapshots, The Pub, or Alfie’s - all of which are half a mile from Cedar & Thread. And you can not leave Granville without frozen custard from Whit’s original location. (Have I made you want to visit yet? Can you tell how much I adore Granville?)

ON THE BLOG this week: I shared this recipe for Lasagna Soup on Monday and so many of you have already made it and loved it!

If you are like me, you’re already thinking of the easiest dinners you’ll be able to get on the table during the rush of all the holiday plans. These Asian Steak Bites are a HUGE favorite in my house and served with Simple Asian Rice or Roasted Potatoes they’re an easy meal that delivers so much flavor.

Speaking of the holidays, you’ll want to save this Best Ever Ham Sandwich idea for leftovers, for party planning, for your next lunch at home, for any possible excuse to make it.

What I’m CRAVING: These Pecan Toffee Bars by Wishes and Dishes are a recipe from The Weeknight Dinner Cookbook that I love. I made another batch this week for today’s event at Cedar & Thread and let me tell you, I’m impressed I managed not to snack my way through them from the freezer.

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are these socks (link HERE) I’ve been wearing them for a few years now and I know I’ve shared them before. But I just ordered a new set for this winter and I’m so happy with them still. I love the new patterns too!

What I’m WATCHING: Breathe (link HERE) Wow. Just wow. This is the true story of Robin Cavendish and his wife Diana. (The movie was produced by their son in order to share their story.) Robin contracted polio at the age of 28. He was paralyzed from the neck down and able to breathe only with the use of a mechanical ventilator. At the time of his death, he was the longest-lived person to survive in this condition.

What Robin and Diana accomplished, after being given the initial prediction of a few months for Robin’s life expectancy, is incredible and I highly recommend watching. (Oh! It’s a free movie to watch if you have Prime too.)

What I’m READING: Drop Shot by Harlan Coben (link HERE) I read the second book in the Myron Bolitar series this week and I’m once again grateful that re-reading books I’ve enjoyed in the past is a gift. (I know that not everyone enjoys doing that, but thankfully I do!)

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
