Welcome to the weekend, my friends! My oldest son turned 16 this week and in addition to that awesome milestone, there are only 18 more days until Christmas!! I am giddy with excitement for our first Christmas in Ohio.

ON THE BLOG this week: Have you ever had a Buckeye? They’re a classic Christmas candy and we love them. But, I don’t always love the time it takes to make them. Buckeye Fudge is my answer to that. With all the awesome flavor in a much simpler recipe. People go crazy over this fudge recipe every year.

This Oven Broiled Chicken is a go-to dinner for our family at least once or twice a month. Marinated and then glazed with homemade barbecue sauce, the whole family loves this dinner.

What I’m CRAVING: If you love almond desserts, you’re going to flip for these Almond Crinkle Cookies that my friend Lori shared this week. This recipe is another one I love from my new dessert cookbook and these cookies are soo good with a cup of tea or coffee.

My FAVORITE THING this week is my make-up eraser (link HERE) I just looked back through my favorite product links and realized I’ve never shared this with you! I’ve been using one of these amazing miraculous cloths for almost two years now and I still absolutely LOVE it.

I don’t know exactly what magical unicorn dust this washcloth is made of, but with nothing more than warm water, my face is squeaky clean every single night. Waterproof mascara? Not a problem. This might be the ultimate stocking stuffer ever, just in case you need something awesome and unexpected.

Oh! And heads up - I do still travel with these disposable make-up wipes (link HERE) because I’ve left my beloved make-up eraser behind in not one, but two hotels. Sigh. But, I just keep re-purchasing it.

What I’m WATCHING: Instant Family (link HERE) This movie was such a great surprise. I absolutely loved it. I laughed, cried, and finished the movie with a giant smile.

What I’m READING: The Huntress by Kate Quinn (link HERE) My review for this one is mixed. This is a book with multiple storylines and while I really enjoyed some of them, others dragged horribly. I almost stopped reading it at one point, but in the end, I simply could not put it down. I was up until after midnight the other night finishing this one.

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
