Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Ohio has finally grown cold and it makes me laugh when the cold takes my breath away some days. It’s so very different from Phoenix in January. It also makes me grateful that we don’t have school or work that takes us away from home early in the morning. I imagine if I were scraping windows or having to bundle up each morning to get to work, I might feel differently about the chilly mornings!

ON THE BLOG this week: Cheesy Roasted Potatoes with Brussels Sprouts and Sausage is one of our go-to meals that I can guarantee the whole family will enjoy. It has the added benefit of being one of my all-time favorite meals too, so I often stash a portion or two in the fridge for my lunches later in the week!

Did your grandmother gift you with a recipe for Monster Cookies? (I think this is just one of these beloved recipes for almost everyone!) If not, you’re going to want to save this one now for your next cookie baking day, because it has been loved for generations.

Loaded Baked Potato Dip is the snack you’re going to be craving for your next party, game day, or pretty much any night of the week. My whole family loves this recipe. If you like classic twice-baked potatoes, you likely will too!

What I’m CRAVING: My friend Aimee shared this Cinnamon Cinnabon Cake a few days ago and it looks incredible!

My FAVORITE THING this week is my Everyday Pan (link HERE) I’ve told you about it before and it bears repeating. I’ve bought this pan three times now, once for me, once for a gift, and again this week so that I can have a second one on hand. I use it every single day, usually more than once a day. (I’m not kidding, I use it constantly.)

What I’m WATCHING: Gracie’s Choice (link HERE) I started watching this one based merely on the fact that it was a Kristen Bell movie that I hadn’t heard of before. Inspired by a true story, this movie will bring you to tears while making you smile the biggest of grins.

What I’m READING: Dark Matter by Blake Crouch (link HERE) This was another excellent read by Blake Crouch. Much like the last book by the same author, this is science fiction at its most engrossing and unbelievable best. However, unlike Recursion (link HERE), this book hooked me literally from the first page. I inhaled this book in one sitting and once again, stayed up way too late to finish reading it.

“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” - Edith Sitwell

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!

Mary
