Goodnight, Thursday
Well, hello holiday weekend! We are so happy to see you!

I have a July 3rd baby in my house (we joke that he came when he did because he didn't want to share a birthday with America) and it's always fun to have a bonus day off from work to celebrate together.

Whether you're sticking around Grand Rapids, heading "up north," or off on family vacation--we hope you use your long, holiday weekend to have some fun as a family.

The Newsletter Team is taking a break from your inboxes next week in the name of bonus time with our people too. Don't worry--I have tons of ideas below to keep you busy through next week...and beyond!

Happy 4th of July! Find your local parade and fireworks right here!

Photo of the Day
Looking at our summer calendars, I just wanted a "normal" summer. I didn't need big plans--I needed beach days and date nights on patios. We settled on one trip to a family cabin in the U.P. with plans to meet our friends from Wisconsin there--it's the northern halfway point between our two houses--so fun!

Michigan provides so many awesome places to visit with your family--and summer is a great time to check some of them out! See which 14 places made our list of summer vacation spots you need to explore.
