The older I get, the less I enjoy camping without glamour. I've found the perfect spot - and it's opening this summer.

DayDreamer Domes has created geodesic, techy, brass colored domes. There's even a pink heated pool, sensory tanks and secret doors.

This 150 acre property is 2 miles from downtown South Haven (hello shopping and dining).

Weekends are for adults only. I'm mentally  planning a girls trip, romantic getaway or even some self care time. Happy glamping!

Adulting at the Zoo: Rock, Roar & Pour is back at John Ball Zoo. Project 90 is playing our fave '90s hits, while we stroll through the zoo. Street performers, food trucks and more on Thurs, June 27 at 6 PM.

Wild West: New bagel alert on the Westside! The EGR Bagel Kitchen GR is opening a new shop. Try a hand rolled bagel with schmear OR fancify with a bagel sandwich. Grand opening on June 29 at 450 Leonard NW.

Things to Do This Weekend (June 28-30)

Pretty Groovy: If you're feeling sassy - get to Wealthy Street Theater to see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". It's also Pride night, so costumes and singing encouraged. Pre-show starts at 10 PM.

Sweets & Tarts: Eating cherries just feels summery - that's why I need to go to Cherry Day Celebration at Robinette's. Cherry slushies, donuts, crisp and cherry goodies to bring home. Sat, June 29 8 AM - 5:30 PM. 

Things to Do Next Weekend (July 5-7)

Hit the Dance Floor : I love hip hop and R&B, so I'm ready to immerse my eardrums at A Night of R&B and Old School Hip Hop at the Pyramid Scheme. Grab your $15 ticket for Sat, July 6 at 8:30 PM.

Kayak & Gaze: Become a tree expert while paddling the Grand River. First register, then come to Riverside Park and let the experts teach you about our local trees. All equipment is included. Sat, July 6 at 9 AM.

Plan Ahead

Planetarium Date: Skip the movie theater and take your special someone to a double feature Light Show at GRPM. Enjoy classics by Queen and Pink Floyd with cash bar available. Get tickets for Fri, July 12 at 7 PM.

Roast Zone?: My favorite comedian just added more shows on his current tour - GR is on the list! Nate Jackson's Super Funny World Tour is coming to DeVos Performance Hall on Fri, Sept. 20.
