Welcome to the weekend, my friends! We are waking up this morning in Augusta, GA and looking forward to spending a week with my brother’s family. It’s so nice to be staying on their property in our cozy little home away from home and still be close enough to have so much time with them. We drove 2,127 miles this week and we are very happy to be camped here for the next 8 days.

You can follow along with our trip (and send me all your travel tips too!) on Instagram stories. I’m sharing each week’s travels on the blog as well, so you can read all about week one HERE.

On the blog this week, I shared this Meat Lover’s Cheese Board along with a giveaway for an absolutely beautiful set of Chef Knives and Cutting Board from Warther’s Cutlery. Check it all out HERE for your chance to win! (The winner will be chosen tomorrow, so that the items will arrive in plenty of time for Father’s Day if you’re inclined to share them.)

I also rambled on at length (sorry in advance for the monologue, but it was WORTH IT) about this Pomegranate Guacamole. If you are anything like me, you read the name of that guacamole recipe and you’re about to scroll quickly past. But give me a quick moment to change your mind. You’re going to love this one.

What I’m CRAVING: Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry by Spend with Pennies, Savory Bread Pudding with Ham and Asparagus by The Food Charlatan, Italian Eggs in Purgatory by Cookin Canuck, and the ever so popular Cinnamon Sour Cream Coffee Cake by 365 Days of Baking (You’re going to love every single one of these recipes!)

My FAVORITE THING this week is this memory foam seat pillow (link HERE). My sister Jenny sent this pillow to my house the week before we left on the trip. I giggled at her concern for my comfort, but oh my goodness, I’m not laughing now. This pillow is AMAZING. I have never sat so comfortably in the truck for so many hours. (And I’ll go ahead and admit that I packed it in the camper and didn’t use it for the first day of driving. I decided to try it for the next long drive day though. Yeah, she knew what she was buying. The difference this pillow has made is priceless.)

What I’m READING: When Crickets Cry (link HERE) by Charles Martin. This book was slow to grab my attention but by about a third of the way through I could not set it down. I highly recommend it.
