Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I spent the week in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM and it was lovely. (You can check out the highlights here.) This time of year the weather is dreamy and the skies are beautiful.

Rebecca and I met in NM for the Santa Fe Opera and it was everything I hoped it would be. We shopped, ate, walked a lot, hiked a wee bit at the top of the Sandia mountains, and absolutely loved the opera.

I’m headed home today and looking forward to a lot of time with the kids before they start school again next week. Are you ready for fall? I’m definitely ready for cooler weather and some heartier foods. What are you most looking forward to this fall?

On the blog this week: I remade these Indian Chicken Bites and oh my goodness, I love them every bit as much as I did years ago when I made them for the first time. The chicken is loaded with great flavor and just a hint of spicy heat.

Have you tried this better-than-store-bought Chocolate Syrup? It’s my go-to ice cream topping and you can make it in less than ten minutes. I almost always have a jar tucked away in the refrigerator.

What I’m CRAVING: These Stuffed Zucchini Boats by Lil Luna sound fantastic and this Homemade Chicken Ramen by Fork Knife Swoon has my mouth watering. This Chocolate Silk Pie by Spend with Pennies is calling my name too.

My FAVORITE THING this week is my new pair of shoes (link HERE). It took some convincing for me to try a true walking shoe, but oh my goodness. These are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. (I can hardly wait to walk all over the British Isles in them while Sean and I are there later this month!) These shoes are absolutely positively worth every penny. Mine are a slightly different color combination, but they’re all pretty cute.

What I’m WATCHING: The Catcher Was A Spy (link HERE). We watched this movie at Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe. The theater is a tiny one and we loved the theater itself. However, the movie was a bit slow and honestly a little disjointed (Also, I could’ve done without the fairly graphic and irrelevant sex scene. I don’t even care if I sound like an old lady by writing that.) All of that said, it was an interesting movie based on a true story and we enjoyed it.

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!

P.S. Because the struggle is real, don’t forget to check out these socks (link HERE) to go with the shoes. They are spectacular. They’re the first and ONLY no-show sock I’ve ever worn that didn’t slide around or off my heel while wearing them. Love love love them.
