Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I’m home this week, enjoying lots of time in my pajamas, and getting ready for the start of the kid’s school year on Monday. I’m also packing for our cruise next week! Sean and I will be cruising the British Isles for the next two weeks and I’m grinning nonstop just writing this.

It’s our first trip to Europe and I can hardly wait. We’ll be visiting Scotland, Ireland, England, and even spending a day in Paris! We’ve been talking about a trip to Europe for 20 years and I’m beyond excited! (In case that wasn’t already obvious by the abundance of exclamation points today.)

Follow along on our trip (and send me all your European travel tips too!) on Instagram.

We're making the most of the last days of summer. There's more Unstructured Play happening in our house than ever before. (You can read all about it HERE.) I'm already brainstorming ways to carry that over into the new school year. From guitar playing to rock collecting, sword play to armor making, the kids are going nonstop.

ON THE BLOG this week: I’m making the most of final peaches of summer with this Peach Caprese Salad with Mozzarella and Prosciutto. You’re going to love it.

Princess Cruises serves a Molten Chocolate Cake in their restaurants and it is divine. I made these Chocolate Lava Cakes to celebrate our cruise next week and to give Sean just a hint of what’s in store for his taste buds on this cruise. (Did I mention I’m a wee bit excited?)

What I’m CRAVING: I adore mushrooms and these Roasted Garlic Butter Mushrooms by Build Your Bite are calling my name. How amazing does a Chocolate Blackout Cake sound? Life Made Simple has this recipe nailed and it looks incredible.

My FAVORITE THINGS this week are these lens cleaning cloths (link HERE). I’m so happy to have found these! Smudges on my sunglasses, laptop, and monitors are a thing of the past with these simple cloths. They’re a screaming deal through Amazon and I keep one near me all the time now. In the car, in my purse, at my desk, in my sunglasses case, I have a cloth everywhere I might need one.

What I’m WATCHING: Supergirl (link HERE). I know, I know, it’s cheesy as heck. I’ve been a bit of a superhero / comic book movie nerd ever since I met Sean. And honestly, even the cheesy shows are still fun to watch. So, if you’re looking for a fun family friendly show, this one works for me.

What I’m READING: Long Way Gone by Charles Martin (link HERE) I’ve shared a few other Charles Martin books with you and so far, he’s a solid author to follow. I’ve loaded this one (and several others) onto my Kindle for our trip and I can’t wait to dive into it.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.” – Mark Twain

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
