Welcome to the weekend, my friends! What are you most looking forward to this weekend? Are you loving the cooler weather? We have had a lot of rain in Phoenix this week and it’s been heavenly!

ON THE BLOG this week: Pumpkin season has arrived and it brought this Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread along with it. The recipe works beautifully in a loaf pan or as muffins.

Buttered Steak Bites with Mushrooms are a quick dinner that our whole family enjoys. Served with Salt Potatoes and Honey Sriracha Roasted Broccoli, I love every bite of this meal.

Take a peek into our trip to Denver, CO. We visited Cave of the Winds and Garden of the Gods while we were in the area. So many of you asked about the airbnb rental I shared in my Instastories, I linked to it in the post. (You can check out all the photos there too!) If you’re headed to Denver in the future, I can’t recommend this guest house highly enough.

What I’m CRAVING: These Rosemary Mushrooms by Easy Low Carb look incredible and this Cauliflower Corn and Cucumber Salad by Valentina’s Corner is on my meal plan for next week as well. I have a pretty well known weakness for sweet corn recipes and this salad looks great.

My FAVORITE THING this week is this overnight moisturizer (link HERE). I just ordered my sixth jar. I think that officially makes it a favorite and as of a few weeks ago, Sean started using it too. Side benefit, it’s an excellent beard cream, who knew? My skin is never oily or dry when I wake up anymore. This is the best balancing overnight moisturizer I’ve ever used.

What I’m READING: The 17th Suspect by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro (link HERE) I’ve mentioned The Women’s Murder Club book series before in my favorites and I am thrilled to finally have my hands on the latest release. I can hardly wait to dive into this one on the plane this weekend.

“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.” - J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!

Mary
