Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Sean and I had the best time in Ohio last week. I loved sharing our house hunt with you. That was a ton of fun. We’re crossing our fingers for our favorite, but if this isn’t THE one, there will be another, right? Want a peek at our trip? You can check it all out on Instagram.

ON THE BLOG this week: Flaky sugar sprinkled Palmiers are a huge favorite of mine. (Between you and me, I can easily eat the whole batch without thinking about it. They’re so airy and light and I just can not resist snacking on them!) This is a terrific treat to make on a minute’s notice. I keep a package of puff pastry on hand throughout the holiday season, just for these simple cookies.

Did you catch the Twice Baked Potato Dip on the blog this morning? Oh my goodness. This disappeared so fast when I made it. I can’t decide if it’s the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever made or the best hot dip. I suppose it’s both. And it’s darn tasty!

What I’m CRAVING: This Maple Pecan Baked Brie by Fake Ginger. I love warm brie appetizers so much! Every time I see my friend Kristen’s recipe for Banana Cream Pie my mouth waters. (I don’t even like banana desserts!) So, it’s definitely time to give this a try. It just looks so good!

My FAVORITE THING this week is my Hurraw lip balm (link HERE). My lips have been crazy dry this year, much more than usual. So, this balm is everything these days. I just love it. (The grapefruit one is my fave!)

What I’m re-READING: Intuitive Eating (link HERE) I know I’ve talked about this book with you before, but I’m reading through it once again. It is such a terrific book. I’ve been anti-diet culture for a while now, but it’s a hard thing to give up. It’s so very deeply ingrained in our way of life, isn’t it?

What I’m WATCHING: The Lake House (link HERE). And I am so confused. Have you seen this movie? It’s an older one, and I liked it. But it’s so confusing. I’m a big fan of movies that require you to suspend disbelief, but wow. This one had about 142 plot holes that I would’ve loved to see explained at least a little bit. If you’ve seen this movie I’d love to hear what you thought of it.

“Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.” ― Pat Conroy

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
