Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Did you see our news on Instagram? We are so excited to be under contract on the house in Ohio. As our move date gets closer, my excitement continues to grow. I can hardly wait for spring!

What are your plans for Christmas this year? I am very much looking forward to the break from school and work and I’m planning to spend as much time relaxing as possible.

ON THE BLOG this week: Italian Cream Liqueur is basically the world’s greatest coffee creamer. I recommend mixing a batch together both for hostess gifts and for sipping on Christmas morning.

Homemade Peppermint Bark is everyone’s favorite gift to receive (and to eat) during the holidays.

The Best Gluten Free White Cake doesn’t taste gluten free at all. This cake receives rave reviews from every single person who tastes it and they almost always question whether or not it is really gluten free. (That, my friends, is a sign of gluten free recipe success!)

What I’m CRAVING: All the SALADS! Anyone else crave salad all year long? I’ve been on sweets overload this month and my vegetable cravings are strong right now. This Spinach Salad with Cranberries, Pears, and Pecans sounds delicious too.

My FAVORITE THING this week is my new t-shirt (link HERE). Because sometimes, it really is too peopley outside.

What I’m LISTENING to: That’s Christmas To Me by Pentatonix (link HERE). I’m a big fan of the older classic songs for the holidays, but sometimes it’s fun to try something different. There’s a reason why Pentatonix is so incredibly popular, right? I’m really enjoying their variations on the classics I already loved.

What I’m READING: Becoming Mrs. Lewis: The Improbable Love Story of Joy Davidman and C. S. Lewis by Patti Callahan (link HERE) I promised you an update, so here it is. I just could not get into this book. I have tried three times and I’ve officially given up. The epistolary writing style is simply not for me. (Sorry to all of you who recommended this one. I just didn’t like it.)

"One of the most glorious messes in the world is the mess created in the living room on Christmas Day. Don't clean it up too quickly." - Andy Rooney

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
