Welcome to the weekend, my friends! We leave for Ohio tomorrow and I am so very ready for it. Follow along on Instagram and feel free to laugh as I corral three boys and approximately 27 suitcases to get there tomorrow. Right now, Sean’s drive with the truck is looking better and better. (Just kidding! I am super grateful not to be hitting the road with the whole family.)

We’ve said goodbye to friends almost every day of the past two weeks and now that our moving day has finally arrived, it’s feeling very bittersweet. We’re looking forward to the new adventure though and I’m excited.

This Twitter thread is the BEST thing I’ve seen this week. I laughed so hard and it’s still making me laugh today.

ON THE BLOG this week: The Easiest (and Tastiest!) Chili is a simple chili recipe that can be pulled together with pantry ingredients. Made with or without meat, the recipe gets two thumbs up whenever we make it.

Elote {Hot Mexican Corn} Dip is made with roasted corn in a creamy sauce of spicy mayonnaise, lime, and cotija cheese. All the amazing flavor of Mexican Street Corn in an irresistible corn dip.

Have you tried homemade barbecue sauce? This Tangy Memphis BBQ Sauce gets made frequently in my house and we use it for all kinds of meat. It’s also a terrific dipping sauce for roasted potatoes.

What I’m CRAVING: This Crispy Chicken Burger with Honey Mustard Coleslaw by Kitchen Sanctuary sounds mouth wateringly good. And this Crockpot Corn Chowder with Potatoes and Bacon by CentsLess Meals is going on my first meal plan once we’re in Ohio. It looks perfect for the rainiest of days!

My FAVORITE THING this week is this One-Step Blow Dryer (link HERE). Oh. My. Word. This blow dryer actually delivers straight, full volume, blow-out quality hair. I LOVE it. I really really love it. In a nutshell, check out the reviews, and believe them. I honestly bought it thinking it sounded way too good to be true (and knowing that I can return anything to Amazon hassle free!) but almost unbelievably it is all that and more.

What I’m READING: Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou (link HERE) This is another true story that I simply can’t put down. (I’ll probably finish it on the plane tomorrow.) Considered to be the biggest corporate fraud since Enron, this is a tale of greed and ambition that simply blows my mind.

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” -A.A. Milne

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
