Welcome to the weekend, my friends! We’re in our new Ohio home at last and I’m looking forward to finally doing some cooking and hoping for a semblance of routine in our lives this week. We unloaded the truck in the snow yesterday - welcome to Ohio! We’re tucked in the house cozy today as we unpack and set up the house. I’m very much looking forward to a snowy Sunday tomorrow.

ON THE BLOG this week: When Moving Isn’t Stressful Enough - just thinking about what could have happened, I’m still thanking God.

BBQ Chicken Stuffed Potatoes have been a family favorite for several years now and I love hearing that this meal has become a favorite for many of you as well.

Have you tried the BEST Swedish Meatballs yet? Oh, how I love these. I think they need to be on our meal plan again this coming month. I make a double batch each time I make them and they still disappear.

What I’m CRAVING: My friend Christi’s Make Ahead Cinnamon Rolls are as perfect as it gets and I’m going to reward myself for unpacking all of the kitchen boxes by making a batch this coming week. This is a week for recipes from my friends, because Lynne’s Lasagna is also on our meal plan. My family loves her lasagna so much.

My FAVORITE THING this week is my new pair of gloves (link HERE). I took a friend’s advice and bought great gloves while preparing for our move to Ohio and I am so glad that I did. I LOVE them. Ultra soft leather with a cashmere lining (sounds so fancy, doesn’t it? Luckily, they were surprisingly affordable!) these gloves have kept my hands toasty warm through the snowy moments and chilly nights.

What I’m READING: Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou (link HERE) I finished this one a few days ago and it’s still on my mind. Elizabeth Holmes is such an incredibly unlikeable character as described by acquaintances and employees, it boggles my mind that she managed to pull off this level of fraud on so many people.

“Nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance; they make the latitudes and longitudes.” -Henry David Thoreau

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!

P.S. The Weeknight Dinner Cookbook is on sale again! (link HERE) You don’t want to miss your chance to grab a copy at a bargain price if you haven’t already. The reviews are consistently awesome and I am so happy that you all are enjoying it!
