Welcome to the weekend, my friends! I’ve barely left the house this week and I couldn’t be happier about that. We lucked into a bit of snow and my youngest two have done their best to make snowballs out of the fluffy white powder. I am excited for them to experience their first real wet snow next year.

Speaking of snow, I bought these really cool snowball makers (link HERE) - which proved awesome even with minimal snow on the ground! And these snow fort brick maker things (link HERE) - which they haven’t used yet, but came well reviewed from friends. If you live somewhere it snows each year, what do your kids love playing with the most?? I’d love suggestions for next year!

ON THE BLOG this week: Do you make your own salad dressings? If not, this Balsamic Vinaigrette is a great place to start. Everyone raves over this dressing and it’s become a staple in our kitchen.

These Spicy Italian Stuffed Peppers are one of my husband Sean’s favorite meals. Have you tried them yet?

Want a sweet treat that only takes a minute or two to make? These PERFECT Rice Krispy Treats disappear as quickly as I can slice them every time I make them. Speaking of making them, I’m putting Rice Krispies on my grocery list now, because I’m craving them again.

What I’m CRAVING: Loaded Baked Potato Soup! I have this on the menu for next week and can’t wait. I saw this Pasta with Shrimp and Wine Sauce by Art In The Kitchen and it looks delicious! And these Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders by Once Upon A Chef look fantastic as well.

My FAVORITE THING this week is my new Tuft and Needle mattress. (link HERE). OH MY GOODNESS. I should’ve listened to my friends and tried one earlier. (FYI - this isn’t sponsored at all. I bought our mattresses and T&N doesn’t have a clue who I am.) With a 90 day money back guarantee, I figured it was worth trying. Ha, as if I’d return it now. I love love love our mattress and can’t imagine going back to a traditional mattress. I’m sleeping amazingly well and I’m so glad I didn’t spend more for a “fancier” mattress option.

What I’m READING and WATCHING: Ha - I’m basically falling into bed at night. Hopefully, I’ll have a new book review or show we’re watching to share next week.

“The small things of life were often so much bigger than the great things . . . the trivial pleasure like cooking, one's home, little poems especially sad ones, solitary walks, funny things seen and overheard.” - Barbara Pym

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!

Mary
