Welcome to the weekend, my friends! As you read this, I’m traveling, on my first trip since our move. I’m not going to deny that it was hard to get excited about packing and traveling when I am truly loving just being home. Lucky for me, it’s a fun sister trip (to the Caribbean!) so I am getting more excited by the minute. Follow along on Instagram for a peek into our fun!

After sharing last week that we now have a Roomba, many of you messaged me laughing about the dog + Roomba incident that blew up the internet a few years ago. In case you haven’t yet read it, and even if you have, it’s worth reading again. I’m still laughing.

ON THE BLOG this week: Our favorite stir-fry for the past 7 years has a surprising ingredient. Have you tried it yet? (Also, if you haven’t yet tried adding bacon to a stir-fry, do it! It makes such a difference.)

This “Un-Stuffed” Bell Pepper Soup is still Sean’s favorite soup. I had fun re-shooting the photos this week and I love my new table even more now. Oh! And you can make the soup on the stove OR in the crock-pot, so it’s a great dinner option on busy days.

In case you missed my crazy excitement over the table’s arrival this week, just be glad I spill most of the excitement over those little things into my Instagram stories, so that you don’t have to hear about every single thing via email or the website. And if you do want the details on our move and day-to-day life, hang out with me and chat via Insta-stories.

Because We Fell In Love With Ohio last year, so much has changed over the past year.

What I’m CRAVING: All the chocolate! (And if we can add in a salty/sweet option even better.) This Best Ever Chocolate Babka by Sugar Loves Spices looks like heaven on a plate. And these Pretzel Turtles by Sugar and Soul are a fun (and easy!) sweet and salty snack.

My FAVORITE THING this week is my new pair of Sanuk flip flops (link HERE) I’m wearing them today and they’re crazy comfortable! I picked mine up at Costco a few weeks ago, but I love them so much, I’m going to order a couple more pairs. (And YES, I know I live in Ohio now, not in Phoenix, but I still love my flip flops.)

What I’m READING: I have The Girl Who Chased The Moon by Sarah Addison Allen (link HERE) on my Kindle now to read during my flight. I’ll keep you posted!

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

Wishing you a beautiful week full of little things that make you smile!
